What is flat clearance in Berlin?

Flat clearance means the complete removal of all contents from your flat or apartment — furniture, appliances, clothing, books, and everything else. Whether you’re moving out, settling an estate, or handing back a rented flat, we take care of everything and leave the property broom-clean.

How does flat clearance work in Berlin?

Step 1 — Free on-site inspection: We visit your flat, assess the contents and access conditions, and give you a binding fixed-price quote. No obligation. We can also do a video call inspection for clients who are not yet in Berlin.

Step 2 — You confirm: You accept the quote. We agree on a date — often within 24–48 hours, also on Saturdays.

Step 3 — We clear: Our team arrives on time, works efficiently, and removes everything. We separate waste correctly and dispose of it in compliance with German waste regulations (§53 KrWG).

Step 4 — Broom-clean handover: We hand back the flat broom-clean — ready for key handover to your landlord. Waste disposal certificate available on request.

How much does flat clearance cost in Berlin?

The price depends on the size of your flat and the amount of contents. Here are typical starting prices:

If your flat contains items with resale value (furniture, electronics, antiques), these will be assessed and offset against the total price — reducing your cost.

Tax tip: If you are a German tax resident, household clearance costs may be deductible under §35a EStG (domestic services tax relief). We issue a proper VAT invoice.
